Back in '98, Tom Smeyers started collecting his first records and landing his first gigs. Since then, he developed a personal style embracing the broad spectrum of early 90's New York deep house and Detroit influenced house and techno. On special occasions, he takes out his Italo crates playing space disco and prime-time Italo disco sets.
Being a true supporter of the old-school house sound, his mixes and productions are heavily influenced by the sounds of producers such as Glenn Underground, Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Funk D' Void, Reese, Romanthony, Mike Huckaby, Larry Heard, Octave One, Paperclip People and Kerri Chandler.
Tom took credit for the first release on SneakerFreaks Music, the vinyl-only label he founded in 2015. His "Back & Forth EP" was played by Kerri Chandler, Tom Trago, Bicep, Soul Clap and reached a solid number two spot in the "House Music Buzz Chart" by Decks Records.
Early 2019, the paths of Tom and indie band Jaguar Jaguar crossed, resulting in a remix of the track "You Got Me". Tom's remix got noticed by Studio Brussels and was released late 2019 in the digital domain along with a very limited run of vinyl copies.
